Marketplace-specific requirements and exceptions
Setup
On ChannelEngine
- Go to the Setup page of your Darty marketplace.
- In Connection, enter your Fnac/Darty shop ID, which is provided to you by your account manager at Darty. This ID is formatted as:
UID A1A1A1A1-A1A1-A1A1-A1A1-A1A1A1A1A1A1 unique shop identification id. - The optional field Relais Colis client ID is used only if you use Relais Colis as your shipment method. Here, enter your client ID. If you use a different carrier (e.g.: PostNL, DPD, GLS, DHL, Fedex, etc.), leave this field empty.
- Click the Save and continue.
- Go to Plugin specific settings.
- Enable the field Is qualified seller? if you are a qualified seller (i.e.: allowed to create or update content). Enable this setting by clicking Yes. If you are not a qualified seller, leave the setting as No.
- FNAC Seller Name - enter your seller name to ensure that your offers are correctly recognized when you leverage the automatic repricing feature.
-
Enable product content export - there are a few conditions to meet before setting this field to the correct value. Select Yes or No depending on the following conditions:
- A - are you a qualified seller?
- B - do you use the same Fnac/Darty shop ID for Darty and Fnac?
-
C - do you already export Darty content from the Fnac.com plugin?
- If you answered No to A, select No.
- If you answered Yes to A and No to B, select Yes. Continue with creating your product content in the Darty plugin, and your content will be exported to Darty.
- If you answered Yes to A and B, but No to C, select Yes. Continue with creating your product content in the Darty plugin, and your content will be exported to Darty. Then, verify that the product export is turned off in the Fnac.com plugin. Check out Fnac: marketplace guide.
- If you answered Yes to A, B, and C, select No. Your product content will not be exported from the Darty.com plugin but from the Fnac.com plugin.
- Click Save.
Product selection
If you turned the product export setting off, create at least one product selection in order to successfully complete the activation of the Darty plugin. This product content is not exported to the Darty marketplace if you turn off the product export setting.
Categorization
Categorization is only needed on Darty if you want to create products or update existing product information. The categorization is straightforward, and it uses attribute names in French.
To see all Darty categories, click Browse in the lower left-hand corner of the Categorization page.
Mappings
You do not need to complete the mapping if you turn the product export setting off.
Content
The more content you map, the higher the chances to convert. If you do not have your product content in French, consider using ChannelEngine's feature to generate product translations.
Like other French channels, Darty has a list of terms that are not allowed in product titles:
- coronavirus
- ampoule UV de désinfection
- COVID
- lampe germicide
- germinicide
- lampe UV
