What this error means

Error ACSREJ_258 means that a product was rejected because the CE label image was not submitted. CE (conformité européenne, French for European conformity) labels indicate that a product conforms with EU health and safety standards. Zalando requires an image showing the CE label together with the product for certain product types sold within Europe.

Why it occurs

Certain product categories require proof of CE certification before they can be listed on Zalando. If no CE label image is included in the product submission, the product is rejected with ACSREJ_258.

CE label image requirements

The CE label image must meet the following criteria:

• The CE label and the product must both be visible and recognizable within the same image. A CE label photographed on its own is not accepted, as it does not confirm the label belongs to that specific product.
• Image quality is not a strict requirement for this image. It serves only as evidence and is stored internally by Zalando. An amateur photo is acceptable.
• If the CE label appears only on the product's packaging or as an enclosed leaflet, photograph the packaging alongside the product so Zalando can confirm the label's presence.
• The CE label image is not publicly displayed on the Zalando marketplace. It is used solely for internal verification purposes.

How to fix it

Map the CE label image on ChannelEngine using any of the Media path attributes numbered 2 through 9. Once mapped, re-export the product to Zalando for review.
