Introduction
eBay's multi-buy feature allows you to offer volume discounts to buyers and increase your average order value. Every volume discount is a combination of product quantity and percentage discount, where quantity acts as a minimum number of units that must be purchased to obtain a discount.
Limitations
- Multi-buy discounts are only available on eBay Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, and United States.
- You can configure up to three volume discounts.
Setup on ChannelEngine
To activate multi-buy discounts, contact your customer success manager or a member of the Support team at ChannelEngine.
To set up multi-buy discount discounts, follow these steps:
-
Go to Mappings, Offer mappings on your eBay channel.
Offer mappings tab on eBay channel - Locate the Map promotion attribute and set it to Yes for all products you want to enroll in the multi-buy program.
-
Enter your desired discount for each tier by using the following attributes:
- Percentage discount for 2 or more items
- Percentage discount for 3 or more items
- Percentage discount for 4 or more items
NB: the percentage must range between 1% and 79% and increase with each tier. Percentage discount attributes only accept numerical values – do not add the percentage symbol. E.g.: 20.NB: the Percentage discount is applied to the Price attribute. In pricing v2, the Price attribute is configured in Pricing, Price rules. - Click Save.
- The discounts are exported in the next Export offers to channel task.
