Channels that sell in non-English speaking regions may only provide their category trees to ChannelEngine in the local language. For sellers who do not read the local language but need to map their product categories to the channel's categories, category mapping is difficult. To simplify category mapping for these sellers, ChannelEngine translates the category tree to English on select channels.

Overview

To see if your category tree has an available English translation: 

1. Go to Categorization and click Browse, either on one of the category line items or in the footer menu. 
2. The toggle setting Show translated names appears in the header menu, above the category tree.
3. To view the category names in English, toggle Show translated names on.

When hovering above a word in the tree, a tooltip appears with the following fields:

• Original - the untranslated word for the category section
• Path - the untranslated category path, starting from the top node
• Translated - the English-language category path, starting from the top node
