Table of contents
Introduction
ChannelEngine tracks all your price attributes and the calculations it performs on them, storing the history of price changes. The Price changes tab displays prices calculated for repricer, prices configured for promotions, and other price attributes that you set up on the Price rules tab.
Prerequisites
If you currently use pricing v1, you must activate pricing v2 before proceeding.
- Go to the Setup page of the channel and locate the New beta pricing setting. The options are:
- Fully activated - adds the new pricing tabs and removes the pricing v1 tabs. This option is recommended for a go-live with the feature.
- Only screens for configuration - adds the new pricing tabs while keeping the pricing v1 tabs. This option is recommended for migration as it allows you to compare the old and new pricing setups.
- Off - pricing v2 is disabled.
NB: we recommended applying the Only screens for configuration option first. This way you can compare pricing v1 and pricing v2 tabs side by side. Once you are ready to fully transition to pricing v2, you can choose Fully activated.
