ChannelEngine: how to get a test/development account
About this article
This article describes how to secure an account for testing or development purposes.
Get access to the ChannelEngine API
It is possible to get an additional account for development and testing purposes – free of charge.
To do so, ask your account manager or contact ChannelEngine via email to have the account created. The name is usually your regular account name, accompanied by the suffix -dev. If your regular account is myshop.channelengine.net, the test account will be myshop-dev.channelengine.net.
NB: these accounts are meant for testing purposes only. Do not configure extensive content mappings and such, as it is impossible for ChannelEngine to transfer mappings and settings to other accounts, or renaming the URL and database name.
