Introduction
ChannelEngine allows you to track and prioritize orders that are at risk of being delivered late, and therefore avoid penalties issued by marketplaces. Using available marketplace dates and your custom configurations, ChannelEngine calculates the late unshipped date for your orders and notifies you accordingly.
Setup
Some marketplaces, such as Allegro, Amazon, eBay, Kaufland, OTTO Market, and Zalando, provide delivery or shipment dates. ChannelEngine uses these dates to calculate the late unshipped date for each order using a specific priority system. First, it considers shipment dates, and then delivery dates. The calculation logic is as follows:
For marketplaces that do not provide shipment or delivery dates, you can use the Late unshipped days setting to set the number of days after which orders are displayed as Late unshipped in ChannelEngine.
- To set this for a specific marketplace, go to the channel’s Setup page.
- To set this globally for all marketplaces, go to Settings, Settings, Orders.
ChannelEngine adds the specified number of days to the order date to calculate the late unshipped date. If neither marketplace dates nor custom thresholds are available, ChannelEngine sets the order date as the late unshipped date.
How it works
When ChannelEngine identifies the order as at risk of being shipped late:
- It is marked as Late unshipped in the Order overview. You can filter your orders based on the Late unshipped orders filter under Additional filters. To prioritize urgent shipments, you can sort your orders by the Late unshipped date column.
- ChannelEngine sends notifications for orders at risk of being shipped late. To receive these notifications, enable them in your Notification settings.
Scenario
If the expected delivery date is set for 10 May by the marketplace and the date is 9 May, ChannelEngine does not take any action. However, if it is May 10 or May 11, ChannelEngine notifies you – and marks the order as Late unshipped in the Order overview.
