Marketplace-specific requirements and exceptions
Setup
On CDON
Once your account has been activated, you can find the API key in the CDON Connect portal.
On ChannelEngine
- Go to the Setup page of your CDON marketplace on ChannelEngine.
- In the Connection settings, enter your CDON API key.
- In the Plugin-specific settings:
- Supported marketplaces - select the countries you want to activate with this connection. E.g.: Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.

Migration
It is only possible to connect with existing offers on CDON using a completely empty environment. ChannelEngine uses a combination of the prefix CE_ and the product's unique ID on ChannelEngine as the unique identifier on CDON (e.g.: CE_1493).
Once the export is done and the related data is synchronized on CDON's end, the updated offers should be visible.

Carrier
Carrier mapping is required on CDON. You can map your carrier to a specific list of carriers known to CDON, which allows for working tracking URLs in the CDON back-end.
Pricing
CDON supports several sales channels, all with different currencies. These need to be mapped to the converted values in the Offer mappings. If you do not have specific prices per country as separate attributes, you need to set up a currency conversion. Because CDON works with specific currencies as separate attributes in the offer mappings, you must create a custom output per currency.
Listed products
If you have problems with products not appearing on CDON – especially if you are trying to create products – check the Listed products page for more information.
You can either filter on Channel status (select Invalid to show all products that ChannelEngine has not exported, such as products with an empty GTIN or that currently do not exist on the marketplace) or use the Validation and feedback tab to see all known errors for specific products.

FAQs
Is it possible to delete products from CDON?
No, it is not possible to delete products created on CDON. However, if you set the stock of a product that is no longer available to zero, the product is displayed as unavailable on CDON.
Why is my discounted price not correct on CDON?
One common reason for incorrect discounted prices is when the value of the Sale price [country] attribute exceeds that of the default Price attribute. This is incorrect – the product's Price should always be higher than Sale price [country]. If this is not the case, check CDON's feedback on the Listed products page to see other potential causes of the issue.
What is the maximum size of the product import on DON?
The maximum size of the product import on CDON is 28.6 MB.
