Amazon: unable to submit feeds (products), but can receive orders
About this article
This article describes an issue related to product submissions to Amazon, and how to troubleshoot it.
Troubleshooting
In some cases, Amazon rejects product submissions – even when the Listing status in the Seller account information section on Seller Central is Active, and the account is a professional one.
If ChannelEngine is successfully added as a third-party application with valid credentials (which you can test by calling the /orders
endpoint), operations such as retrieving orders and submitting products can be performed. However, if ChannelEngine receives the following response from Amazon, it is unable to create offers and/or products on Amazon:
<Code>InvalidMarketplace</Code> <Message>Feed rejected</Message>
To solve this:
- On Amazon's Seller Central, go to Settings, Account info, Payment information and check your payment information – including your credit card details, if applicable.
- If you approve or update this information, you receive an email from Amazon after which it should be possible to submit feeds again.
