Choosing notifications based on your function
Introduction
A notification on ChannelEngine is a message sent to the logged-in user when an event occurs that may require a follow-up action. ChannelEngine sends the notification as an email to the email address registered in your account settings; the notification is also archived in the notification center in the top toolbar.
In Account settings, Notification settings, you can review and select which notifications you will receive. Notifications are turned off until you opt in to them. For guidance on how to turn on notifications so that you receive them, check out ChannelEngine: how to configure notifications.
Always-on notifications
Notifications from the ChannelEngine Support team are enabled by default on your tenant. These notifications include important alerts, including when maintenance on the platform is scheduled and when newly required attributes need to be mapped on a given channel to keep your listing active.
The always-on notification is:

Choosing notifications based on your function
Other notifications may also be relevant to your role in your organization, whether you are an administrator/manager or a specialist.
Administrator users
Administrators or marketplace managers might benefit from the following notifications:
- Plugin deactivated
- Plugin authorization about to expire
- Sales channels deactivated
Enterprise users
If you are a marketplace manager within a small enterprise, then you may want to enable nearly all available notifications on ChannelEngine. However, if you belong to an enterprise organization, the volume of operations flowing through your ChannelEngine tenant may result in an enormous amount of notifications to read every day. Therefore, choose your notifications based on your specific role within the organization.
Specialists
If you are a specialist, then enable the notifications that are related directly to your function. E.g.: a product feed manager enables the notifications that are related to the implementation of the product feed.
