How to request an account
To start selling on Overstock, apply for an account on its partner portal, Supplier Oasis. You must have a minimum of three SKUs on Overstock to manage your products via ChannelEngine.
To sell on any US-based marketplace, the following seller requirements apply to you as well:
- US Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN)
- US-based warehouse
- Ability to process returns
- Customer service available by email, at a minimum

Settings and configuration
Setting up each channel on ChannelEngine follows the same flow, though not every channel includes the steps listed below.
- Go through the Setup.
- Create a Product selection.
- Complete the Categorization.
- Set up the Mappings: content, offers, and carriers.
- Configure the Pricing: rules and currency conversion.
- Fill in the Stock settings.
- Finish the Activation.
- Check the Listed products overview.

This section describes this channel’s exceptions to the general settings and configuration process on ChannelEngine.
Setup
On Overstock
Register yourself as an integrated supplier for Overstock in Overstock’s partner portal.
Go to account settings in the partner portal.
Fill out the Integrations Setup form.
From Overstock, obtain the username and password credentials for updating inventory via API.
Create your product listings on Overstock. For more information on this and on Overstock’s other setup requirements, contact Overstock’s partner team.
On ChannelEngine
Connection
Connect the channel to Overstock with your API credentials:
Go to Setup, Connection.
Enter your API credentials.
Enter your latest Bearer token (API). Your credentials are provided by Overstock and need to be refreshed every 90 days.
Plugin-specific settings
Both the warehouse code and the fulfillment type are required settings.

Fulfillment type - select your fulfillment type, either 1P or 3P.
When you select 1P, imported orders reflect the purchase prices of the products.
When you select 3P, imported orders reflect the selling prices of the products.
Warehouse code - enter the code of the warehouse where you track stock levels. Find this code on the Overstock platform. Enter only one code here. Even if you have multiple stock locations enabled on ChannelEngine, the order routing that you configure on ChannelEngine does not apply to your Overstock orders.

All products (required)
- Brand - the brand name of the product.
- Description - the full detailed product description shown to customers on the product page.
- Expeditable - indicates whether the item can be shipped quickly or is eligible for expedited shipping options.
- Export content - specifies if ChannelEngine exports the product's content to Overstock.
- Fulfillment time - the time in days or hours to process and ship the order after it is placed.
- Is replenishable - indicates whether the product is regularly restocked or can be reordered in bulk.
- Manufacturer name - the legal name of the company that manufactures the product.
- Manufacturer part number - the unique part number assigned by the manufacturer.
- Model or style number - the model number or style identifier.
- Product name - the customer-facing product title.
- Product quality - the quality tier or condition of the item.
- Prop 65 disclaimer required - flags whether the product requires a California Proposition 65 warning label.
- Ship mode - the allowed or preferred shipping method for the product.
- Warranty company - the company responsible for honoring the warranty.
- Warranty length - the duration of the warranty.
- Warranty phone - the customer service phone number for warranty claims.
- Warranty provider - the entity that provides or administers the warranty service.

- Assembled depth - the depth of the fully assembled product.
- Assembled depth unit of measure - the unit of measure used for the assembled depth.
- Assembled height - the height of the fully assembled product.

- Carrier - the preferred shipping carrier for the product.
- Country of origin - the country where the product was manufactured or assembled.
- Image 1-19 - the first through 19th product image.
- ISBN 10 - the 10-digit ISBN number for the product.
- ISBN 13 - the 13-digit ISBN number for the product.
- NMFC class - the national motor freight classification class for shipping.
- NMFC code - the national motor freight classification code for the product.
- Non-compliant materials - indicates if the product contains any non-compliant materials.
- Re-order lead days - the number of days required to reorder and restock the product.
- Shipping restrictions - any special shipping restrictions or limitations for the product.
- UPC - the universal product code for the product.
Offer
All products (required)
- Currency - the currency in which the product price is listed.
All products (optional)
- Minimum advertised price - the lowest price allowed to publicly advertise or display the product per manufacturer policy.
- Price - (appears if you use pricing v1) your selling price for the product. Not required for 1P sellers.
In Mappings, Offer mappings, the following offer attribute may appear on this channel, if this channel uses pricing v2:
- Allow promotion below min price - set it to ‘true’ to allow the promotion price to drop below your product's minimum price.
In Mappings, Fee group mappings, map the marketplace fee group ID of the product.
Carrier
Carrier mapping is required on the Overstock channel. Overstock has a list of carriers to choose from, which are available in Carrier mappings. Map your carriers to Overstock’s carriers. If your preferred carrier is not listed, contact the ChannelEngine Support team to have it added to your tenant.
Pricing
If you use pricing v2, map the following price attributes in Pricing, Price rules:
- Price - (not required for 1P sellers) your selling price for the product.
- Supplier cost - (required for 1P sellers) your internal wholesale or acquisition cost for the product.
- Minimum advertised price - the lowest price allowed to publicly advertise or display the product per manufacturer policy.
Additional information
Stock
The stock is linked to each product’s SKU. Ensure that the list of SKUs on ChannelEngine matches the SKUs that you have created on Overstock. If you delete a product offer on Overstock’s back-end platform, the product’s stock moves to zero on ChannelEngine.
Shipments
The tracking code is required when creating a shipment. Return tracking codes are not required.
FAQs
How often does ChannelEngine import orders from Overstock?
By default, orders from the last three hours are regularly imported into ChannelEngine. You can import these into your external systems at the frequency of your choosing. To retrieve orders that are newer than three hours old, please contact the ChannelEngine Support team.
Does Overstock support more carriers than the carriers that are listed in carrier mappings on ChannelEngine?
Overstock may update its supported carriers from time to time. If you wish to use a carrier that is not listed on ChannelEngine’s carrier mapping page, check Overstock’s seller or vendor portal for the most up-to-date list of Overstock’s supported carriers, and see if your preferred carrier is listed. If your preferred carrier is not listed, please contact the ChannelEngine Support team to include the carrier in your tenant.
