ChannelEngine: statistics
About this article
This article describes the Statistics module of ChannelEngine and what each tab is for.
Table of contents
Introduction
The Statistics module gives you an overview of your sales via ChannelEngine. Use it to see which products, brands, segments, and channels generate the most revenue, and how many weeks your current stock covers at your sales rate.
The module has two tabs: Revenue and Product performance.
Revenue tab
The Revenue tab shows your gross and net merchandise value (GMV and NMV) across channels, products, brands, and segments (custom product groups).
Use the Revenue tab to:
- Track your revenue over time and compare it with the previous period to spot seasonal trends and changes in trajectory.
- See which channels bring in the most revenue and how your sales are distributed across them.
- Find your best-selling products, brands, and segments.
- See your top delivery countries and use them to inform your logistics and warehouse decisions.
- Monitor your surplus – the revenue earned by selling a product above its minimum price.
The tab has two view modes: Per order, to compare channels and delivery countries, and Per product, to compare brands, segments, and individual products.
See ChannelEngine: Revenue (statistics) for details.
Product performance tab
The Product performance tab lists each product in your catalog with its current stock, stock in weeks (SiW), and sales results per period. By default, the table shows the last 7 and 28 days; however, you can view more periods.
Use the Product performance tab to:
- View your best-selling products and the quantity sold per period.
- Monitor how much surplus each product generates.
- Check whether your current stock covers your recent sales rate and spot products that need restocking.
- Export the table as a CSV file for use in spreadsheet or BI tools.
See ChannelEngine: Product performance (statistics) for details.
