Introduction

When a marketplace makes a payment to a merchant, the justification of the payment is included in a settlement report. The marketplace supplies the settlement report and contains a breakdown of the buyer transactions and commissions that are resolved between you (the merchant) and the marketplace.

On ChannelEngine, you can use settlement reports to compare the marketplace’s justifications of payments and commissions to open payment posts in your administrative system.

VeePee does not provide settlement information to ChannelEngine via API. However, you can point ChannelEngine to VeePee’s SFTP server to allow ChannelEngine to import VeePee’s settlement data for you. ChannelEngine will automatically import VeePee’s settlement reports from VeePee’s SFTP server and upload the data to ChannelEngine. 

Once uploaded, you can view an overview of all your settlements, from across a variety of marketplaces, on ChannelEngine and create custom reports via the Merchant API for your administration.

Connect to the VeePee SFTP server

To establish a connection between VeePee’s SFTP server and ChannelEngine, follow these steps:

1. Contact VeePee’s partner services to request access to an SFTP server for VeePee to transfer your settlement reports.

2. Obtain the following credentials from VeePee:

   • SFTP hostname

   • SFTP port

   • SFTP username

   • SFTP password

3. On ChannelEngine, navigate to the VeePee marketplace. Go to Setup, Connection.

4. Set Enable settlement import to Yes.

5. Enter the credentials from Step 2 into the following fields:

   1. Settlements SFTP hostname

   2. Settlements SFTP port

   3. Settlements SFTP username

   4. Settlements SFTP password

6. Click Save.

View VeePee settlements on VeePee

To view your settlements directly on the VeePee platform:

1. Log onto the Pink Connect platform. 
2. In Beamer Manager, click on Settlements.

View VeePee settlements on ChannelEngine

To view VeePee settlements on ChannelEngine, follow these steps:

1. From the left-hand side menu, go to Finance, Settlements

2. Search for VeePee in the search bar, or filter on VeePee in the dropdown filter at the top of the page.

3. You see a list of incoming settlement reports from VeePee.
