bol: why are my orders automatically canceled?
About this article
This article explains why certain orders are canceled automatically by bol.
Introduction
In August 2018, bol introduced a change where they automatically cancel orders that are not marked as Shipped more than three days after the set delivery date. Therefore it is very important that orders are processed and 'shipped' on ChannelEngine before this deadline. Otherwise, the buyers who initiated those orders may receive their product(s) and their money back – which is obviously undesirable for you.
Troubleshooting
To find out if an order has a successfully exported shipment, check its Status and Channel status on ChannelEngine. If the latter has the label Exported at accompanied by a date up to three days later than the original delivery date, the shipment has been successfully sent to bol.
However, if the date associated with the Exported at is more than three days later than the original delivery date, the order has been canceled and removed from bol's back-end.
