Table of contents
Introduction
In many categories on Carrefour.es, it is mandatory to group products under a specific 'group number'. On most marketplaces, this sort of grouping is only required for variations – and is done based on a group number like the parent's SKU.
Carrefour.es is different, as it uses a dedicated attribute that must be mapped: Código de familia (Family code). This is always required, even if the product is a standalone.
Products with variations
If you have a product that belongs to a product family, map the parent product's SKU as the Código de familia. In most cases, this is the Parent SKU.
When exporting the product to Carrefour.es, ChannelEngine sets the EAN of the first variation as the Código de familia.
Standalone products
If you have standalone products, map the product's SKU as the Código de familia. In most cases, this is the Merchant product number.
When exporting the product to Carrefour.es, ChannelEngine sets the EAN of the product as the Código de familia.
Combined products
If you have both types of products in the same category, use an advanced rule based on the product type to map it according to Carrefour.es' requirements.
