bol: how do I verify my image labels?

This article explains how to verify your image labels on bol's backend, and why this is necessary when mapping image labels via ChannelEngine.

Solution

On the bol channel on ChannelEngine, you can map image labels via Content mappings. However, not every image label is supported in every product category on bol. Mapping an unsupported label may result in the label not being applied correctly on bol's side.

To verify which image labels are available for a specific product category, check bol's backend directly:

1. Log in to your seller account on the bol partner platform.
2. Navigate to Items and select the relevant product.
3. Click Edit content or View item, then open the images section.
4. Review the available views (labels) shown for that product's category. Only the labels listed here are supported for that category.

Note that excluding image labels from the content export does not prevent the related products from being published, and it also does not block other product updates.
