About this integration
7Learnings is a predictive pricing and marketing optimization service for retailers. 7Learnings uses AI predictions for sales, profit, and revenue to calculate optimal pricing decisions based on your product, price, and order data.
From ChannelEngine, you create three feeds and a scheduled order report that are continuously shared with 7Learnings:
- Purchase price feed: contains the current purchase price of your products
- Price feed: contains the current prices of your products
- Attribute feed: contains product information such as categories, brand, and product group
- Scheduled order report: contains your order data and is shared via Amazon S3 Storage
7Learnings validates the output of each of the feeds and the report.
Requirements
To use the 7Learnings integration, you need the following features on ChannelEngine:
Reach out to your ChannelEngine contact person if you need assistance with setting up these features on ChannelEngine.
Setting up your feeds via the custom feed builder
Use the custom feed builder to create the three feeds that 7Learnings needs. Each feed has required and optional attributes. Include all required attributes and, where possible, the recommended attributes.
MerchantProductNo for the product_id values in all three feeds; the scheduled order report uses this reference to match the data across the feeds and the orders.
To create your feeds:
- Add the Feed channel to your dashboard three times.
- Open the first feed channel and go to Setup, General.
- Change the Name to ‘7Learnings - purchase price feed’.
- Click Save.
- Repeat Steps 2-3 for ‘7Learnings - price feed’ and ‘7Learnings - attribute feed’.
- Apply the configuration below to all three feeds.
Setup
Settings
- Export data type - select CSV.
- Block empty exports - select No.
- (recommended) Require API key for feed download - select Yes to require a bearer token to view the content of the feed. When set to Yes, the bearer token appears in the API key field in Setup, General. Copy and provide the bearer token to 7Learnings to enable secure access to your feed file via its URL.
Product selection
Add the same product selection across all three feeds that you create via the custom feed builder so that each feed contains data for the same products.
Feed settings
In Feed settings, manually create and configure your attributes.
- Refer to the instructions for each feed below for guidance on which attributes to configure.
- To manually create attributes via the web interface:
- Click Add attribute.
- Enter a name for the attribute in Name.
- (optional) Enter one or more mapping options in Options and click Add after each addition. Mapping options appear as selectable fixed values in Mappings.
- Configure the options below for the attribute:
- Required - indicate if mapping the attribute is required.
- Price - indicate if the attribute is a price attribute and therefore compatible with ChannelEngine’s pricing features.
- Click Save and continue.
- To add another attribute, repeat Steps 2-4.
Mappings
Map your non-price attributes in the Mappings step.
Pricing
Map your price attributes in the Pricing step.
Overview

- Click Generate feed. When generated, the URL of your product feed is published and ready to share.
Feed 1: purchase price feed
The purchase price feed contains the current purchase prices of the products that you want to optimize. Send purchase prices as net values in your main accounting currency. The purchase price is the net landed cost of a single unit sold, including freight cost from the production facility to the warehouse, customs duties, tariffs, insurance, handling fees, and any other import-related expenses (i.e.: COGS or cost of goods sold).
In the Feed settings step of your purchase price feed, add the attributes listed in the table below to the feed.

Yes | No | Unique identifier of the product, SKU; your Merchant product no. on ChannelEngine |

Feed 2: price feed
The price feed contains a snapshot of the current prices of all products. Send prices as gross values in the local market currency.
Create unique attributes per channel, e.g.: gross_red_price_channel_1, gross_red_price_channel_2 and active_since_channel_1, active_since_channel_2.
Add the attributes listed in the table below to the feed.

Pricing
In your price feed, go to Pricing, Price rules, and map your gross_red_price attribute(s) with the following price fields:
- Min price: your minimum price
- Base price: your selling price
- Price link: add a price link to reflect your actual price on the given channel
To add a price link, click + Add price field, Price link.
For detailed instructions on configuring each price field, including the price link, check out ChannelEngine: price rules v2.

The attribute feed contains product content data. Send the attributes in your own naming convention.
