Introduction

Automatically generate product feed URLs to list your products on any affiliate site or click-and-ad channel. The generated URLs are exported from ChannelEngine, leaving the original data sources that you feed to ChannelEngine protected.

On your dashboard, two different channel plugins create automated product feeds:

• Custom channel - on your dashboard: Custom channel; generate a dedicated feed URL for each channel using the product data that you already store on ChannelEngine. The product feed you generate from a custom channel has a fixed set of attributes.
• Custom feed builder - on your dashboard: Feed channel; for channels that require the JSON format, specific nesting structures, or other specific syntax, further customize your product feed. You completely design the attributes in the product feed that you generate from the custom feed builder, either by uploading a template or adding attributes to your feed via the web interface.

To add an existing affiliate or click-and-ad channel:

1. Click + Add channel on your ChannelEngine dashboard.
2. In the channels overview, filter by: Click & ad channels.
3. Add your channel(s).
4. Follow the steps in the channel plugins to generate your product feeds.
5. Send your feed URLs to the given channels.

Generate feeds on your own using customizable channel plugins on your dashboard.

Create a feed with standard fields

Create product feeds in CSV and XML formats using the standard ChannelEngine fields and your own custom fields. Use the Custom channel plugin on your dashboard to create a dedicated feed to a given channel.

Create a feed with tailored syntax

If your affiliate channel requires a specialized syntax, nesting, the JSON format, or highly individualized product attributes, create a product feed that is tailored specifically for the channel. Use the Feed channel plugin on your dashboard to create a tailored feed.
