Variations (color/size)** |
* A marketplace that supports sales channels allows merchants to list and sell products across multiple markets (e.g.: countries, regions, and states), all from the same connection.
** To set up parent-child relationships, map both the product’s own SKU and its parent SKU on ChannelEngine. After product content is exported to Reebelo, child SKUs must be manually linked to their parent SKUs in Reebelo’s back end.
Marketplace-specific requirements and exceptions
Setup
On ChannelEngine
Reebelo does not require you to enter any settings or keys on ChannelEngine's Setup page. Because Reebelo uses ChannelEngine's channel API, they connect to ChannelEngine instead of the other way around. Therefore, you must provide the following credentials to your account manager at Reebelo so that they can connect your account:
- Your account subdomain - https://[youraccount].channelengine.net
- The Channel API key, which can be found on the Setup page in the ChannelEngine back-end
- Your product feed from ChannelEngine (see below)
Product selection
Reebelo uses ChannelEngine's product feed to fetch products, so it is important to share the correct product feed URL with them. The feed is available in CSV and XML formats, and can be found on the Product selection page for the marketplace on ChannelEngine.
Note that a feed is only made available once a product selection is stored, and the export task has run for the first time.
Mappings
Content
Because Reebelo is a Channel API marketplace, the mappings are all standard ChannelEngine attributes. You can leave some empty, even though they are marked as required. However, we recommend you map as many attributes as possible. The more you map, the more visible the product is on the marketplace. In turn, this tends to lead to a higher conversion rate.
At a minimum, you must map the following four required fields:
- SKU/Merchant product number
- Parent SKU//Parent merchant product number (for variations)
- Name
- Price
- Stock
All products (required)
- Brand - the product's brand. E.g.: Nitro.
- Catalog price - the product's recommended price.
- Category - the product's category tree. E.g.: Gadgets > Smartphones.
- Color - the product's color. E.g.: black.
- Description - the product's description.
- Details - the product's highlights. E.g.: RAM - 16 GB. Storage - 256 GB.
- Extra image URL 1-9 - the product's additional images.
- GTIN - the product's unique identifier, such as its EAN.
- Image URL - the product's main image.
- Merchant product number - the product's internal identifier, such as its SKU. This attribute must be mapped to the Merchant product number, otherwise an error occurs when Reebelo attempts to create an order.
- Name - the product's title. The maximum character count is 150. E.g.: Nitro smartphone 2024 - 256 GB - Black.
- Parent merchant product number - the Merchant product number of the product's parent, if applicable.
- Price - the product's price.
- Product URL - the link to the product detail page on your own website.
- Shipping cost - the cost to deliver the product.
- Shipping time - the average amount of time it takes to deliver the product. E.g.: 1-2 weeks.
- Size - the product's size.
- Stock - the quantity of products available for purchase.
- Vendor product number - the product's internal identifier.
All products (optional)
- Discount percentage - the discount that applies to the product's price, without the percentage sign. E.g.: 20.
- Purchase price - the product's purchase price.
Custom attributes
To include specific attributes in a custom feed, you must mark these attributes as public. You can manage the public status of custom or product extra data fields via the custom field management screen, under Products, Custom fields.
For each field, click the pencil icon, enable the Is public status, and then click Save. For more information about managing custom fields, see the article Product custom fields. If an attribute is set to public, it is automatically included in the product feed generated for the custom channel. The custom fields are grouped in the element Extra data.
Carrier
No carrier mapping is required on Reebelo. You can provide no shipment method and tracking code for Reebelo shipments. However, if you do this, no tracking information is received by the customer, Therefore, we recommend that you provide this information – as it is standard practice for most marketplaces.
FAQs
Why are my shipments stuck as 'Not exported yet'?
Reebelo uses ChannelEngine's Channel API, so ChannelEngine does not initiate the import and export of data to and from the marketplace. If your shipments are not exported and not visible in Reebelo's back-end, something is wrong with the import of the shipment information. Please contact Reebelo's customer service to investigate this. You can copy ChannelEngine's Support team in the email, if needed.
