Associated costs

Amazingkids.nl does not charge a setup or monthly fee. However, it does charge a commission fee varying from 8.5% to 10%, depending on the product category.

Setting up each marketplace on ChannelEngine follows the same flow, though not every marketplace includes the steps listed below.

1. Go through the Setup.
2. Create a Product selection.
3. Complete the Categorization.
4. Set up the Mappings: content, offers, and carriers.
5. Configure the Pricing: rules and currency conversion.
6. Finish the Activation.
7. Check the Listed products overview.

Marketplace-specific requirements and exceptions

Setup

On ChannelEngine

This marketplace does not require the addition of any IDs or keys on ChannelEngine's Setup page. Because it uses the ChannelEngine Channel API, it connects to ChannelEngine instead of the other way around. You need to provide your contact person at the marketplace with the following credentials, so they can connect your account:

• Your account subdomain (i.e.: https://[youraccount].channelengine.net/api)
• The Channel API key, which can be found on the Setup page of the marketplace on ChannelEngine
• Your product feed from ChannelEngine (see below)

Mappings

Content

It is recommended that you map as many attributes as possible. The more you map, the greater the visibility of the product on the marketplace is. This, in turn, tends to lead to a higher conversion rate.

Note that your sales price is mapped under the Content mappings, and price rules can be applied to this price.

All products (required)

• Brand - the product's brand or manufacturer.
• Color - the product's color, selected from a predefined list of values. Amazingkids.nl's palette cannot be extended beyond these colors, therefore you either need to map your colors to theirs or use their palette.
• EAN code - the product's 13-digit EAN or GTIN.
• Gender - the gender associated with the product. The options are: girls, boys, women, and men.
• Image - the product's main image.
• Name - the product's title.
• Status - the product's status on Amazingkids.nl's website. Enter 0 for disabled, or 1 for enabled.

All products (optional)

• Artnr lev - the article code, according to the supplier. E.g.: C029KGN60001.
• Description - the product's description.
• Extra image 1-5 - the product's additional images.
• Kleur leverancier - the product's color, according to your own palette.
• Materiaal - the product's material composition. E.g.: 90% cotton, 10% polyester.
• Meta description - the product's meta description, for search engines. E.g.: This dress has a round neckline, and closes at the back with a concealed zipper. This model is wide and is made of a supple viscose. The all-over print finishes it off completely.
• Meta keyword - the product's meta keyword, for search engines. E.g.: dress, girls, zipper, cotton.
• Meta title - the product's meta title, for search engines. E.g.: VN5871 Vingino Phillis.
• News from date - the date from when the product should be marked as 'new' in the shop. The date format is YYYY-MM-DD.
• News to date - the date until when the product should be marked as 'new' in the shop. The date format is YYYY-MM-DD.
• Season year - the product's season, standardized as: Zomercollectie {YEAR}, Wintercollectie {YEAR}, Heren Zomer {YEAR}, Heren Winter {YEAR}, Dames Zomer {YEAR}, or Dames Winter {YEAR}.
• Short description - a shorter version of the description, to be shown in the shop where there is limited space. E.g.: This dress has a round neckline, and closes at the back with a concealed zipper.
• SKU - the product's unique identifier, usually the Merchant product number. E.g.: 146069.

Offers

The only mandatory offer mappings are Price, Stock, and Tax percentage. However, there are optional attributes that allow you to configure discounts.

Required

• Price - your desired sales price.
• Stock - the product's available quantity.
• Tax percentage - the product's applicable tax percentage.

Optional

• Cost - the price at which the product is purchased from its supplier. Enter a decimal value, with the decimals separated by a dot. E.g.: 35.50.
• Discount percentage - the discount percentage, used only for displaying purposes. I.e.: this value is not used to calculate the product's price.
• Special from date - the date from when the special price is valid. The date format is YYYY-MM-DD.
• Special price - the product's discounted price. If filled in, this price is used for the product and the value under Price is shown with a strikethrough on the Amazingkids.nl website.
• Special to date - the date until when the special price is valid. The date format is YYYY-MM-DD.

Carrier

There is no carrier mapping required on Amazingkids.nl. The information provided to ChannelEngine is the information passed on to Amazingkids.nl, without re-mappings or conversions.

Listed products

Amazingkids.nl does not provide feedback via the API, so if you need information regarding the status of a product you need to contact Amazingkids.nl.

FAQs

Why are my shipments stuck as 'Not exported yet'?

Amazingkids.nl uses ChannelEngine's Channel API, ChannelEngine does not initiate the import and export of data to and from the marketplace. If your shipments are not exported and not visible in Amazingkids.nl's back-end, something is wrong with the import of the shipment information. Please contact Amazingkids.nl's customer service to investigate this. You can copy ChannelEngine's Support team in the email, if needed.
