Introduction

ChannelEngine's JTL merchant plugin allows you to connect your instance of cloud-based ERP JTL-Wawi with your ChannelEngine environment. This connection uses the JTL-SCX interface.

To use ChannelEngine's JTL merchant plugin, you need:

• An active account with JTL.
• An active subscription with JTL's EazyAuction program.

How to request an account

To sign up for an account with JTL, go to their website (in German) and fill out the form.

Setup

On JTL

1. Contact JTL's support and ask them to connect JTL-Wawi with your JTL account, and assign you the ChannelEngine 'channel' on JTL-Wawi. This allows you to view and select the ChannelEngine 'channel' on JTL-Wawi, which handles the signup URL during authentication.
2. The signup URL launches ChannelEngine in a popup. To authenticate the connection, log in to your environment.

On ChannelEngine

1. On ChannelEngine, in the left menu, click Plugins.
2. On the Plugins page, find JTL and click Add.
3. On the Setup page, under the Plugin-specific settings section, enter the following:

   Field	Value
   Size attribute code	size
   Color attribute code	color
   Detail attribute code	details
   Purchase price attribute code	purchasePrice
   Margin attribute code	marginRate
   Shipping cost attribute code	shippingCost
   Shipping time attribute code	shippingTime

   NB: these settings are used to map JTL variations with ChannelEngine product properties. Examples of product variations include size and color. Variations that are not present in this list are added to products as extra data.
4. In the Advanced settings section, enter the following:
   

   Field	Description	Example
   Price type attribute code	The PriceType you want to use	B2C
   Currency attribute code	The currency code	EUR

5. By default, Update stock on product import is enabled. If you do not want to update stock when products are imported, disable this setting.
6. Click Save.
7. A message indicates if the connection was successful. If it was, go to the Activation page and enable the Activate synchronization for JTL setting.

Images

When this merchant plugin is activated, ChannelEngine creates custom image URL attributes on JTL-Wawi. These are then mapped to the standard images attributes on ChannelEngine.
